Micromax intros its first Octa-core processor phone

Micromax, India’s 2nd largest smartphone manufacturer and world’s 11th largest mobile manufacturer, today announced the launch of its first Octa-Core Smartphone - Canvas Knight A350.

he new smartphone sports a full aluminium body casing adding style, oomph and sturdiness.

The Canvas Knight boasts of a MediaTek 2GHz Tru Octa-Core MT6592T processor packed with a 2GB RAM, promising exceptionally fast performance, smoother transitions and a smooth interface. Exemplifying excellent graphic quality, the smartphone sports a 12.7 cm (5") SHARP FHD IPS display that offers dynamic contrast and color clarity adding more life and vibrancy to the viewing experience.

With a 16MP Rear Camera paired with OmniVision’s CameraChip sensor and a new generation M8 Largan Lens, users can record videos with a resolution of 1920*1080 at a speed of 30 frames per second. The rear camera comes with voice command capabilities wherein all a user needs to do is say ‘Cheese’ or ‘Capture’ to click images while on-the-move. It also delivers a full HD 1080p video recording and playback functionalities.

The OmniVision CameraChip sensors are capable of capturing high resolution images in rapid succession, fulfilling image processing functions, image size, frame rate, exposure, gain, cropping and orientation are programmable through the Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB). The Canvas Knight comes with the unique ‘Camerazzi’ camera feature which offers a host of innovative functions including 360 Degree Panorama, Cinemagraph and Object Eraser.

Canvas Knight A350 also comes with a Yamaha Amplifier for the music lovers promising great audio output delivering a cinematic entertainment experience. Power packed with 2350 mAh battery, and equipped with 32GB of internal storage, users need not worry about storing their favorite music, images, videos etc. Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, users get access to unlimited applications which can be downloaded via the pre-loaded Google Play Store. The phone also packs in smart gestures that give users an array of features like, ‘Proximity Answer Phone, Upside Silent, Upside Speaker and Proximity Dial Phone’ for hassle free functioning.
