The Electrocoat Association and the Chemical Coaters Association Intl. will host the 2016 Electrocoating Seminar, Oct. 4-5, 2016, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Oct. 4 kicks off the classroom-style program with an introduction to electrocoating. The discussion will center on cost and process efficiencies, quality control, and technologies in the different components of a typical electrocoating line. Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for defects also will be addressed and illustrated with actual examples.
An evening networking event on Oct. 4 will provide attendees an opportunity to meet the presenters and ask questions specific to their company’s needs, as well as interact with other attendees and potential partners.
The event will conclude with a plant tour of the John Deere Des Moines Works, Ankeny, Iowa. The facility’s cathodic electrocoat system offers a real-world illustration of the technical material presented.
