Being creative and forging your own individual style is a part of life today, particularly among young people. This is underscored by the development of h+h cologne, the international trade fair for handicraft + hobby, taking place in Cologne from 18 to 20 March 2016. Five months before the event, around 90 percent of the 2015 exhibition area has already been booked. Among those who have already reserved their stand space at the fair are all the industry leaders, such as MEZ, Lana Grossa, Gütermann, Prym and Rico. In total, 300 companies have already officially registered, including around 200 exhibitors from abroad.
At h+h cologne 2015, 379 exhibitors from 43 countries presented their newest products, trends and collections in the areas of knitting, embroidery, crocheting, sewing and other handicrafts, as well as the corresponding accessories, to an international audience. The 14,800 visitors from 74 countries marked yet another chapter in the success story of h+h cologne, which has shown continuous growth in Cologne for over six years now.
In addition to the comprehensive industry offerings, the target-group specific supporting programme counts among the most important factors in the fair's success. Next year, h+h cologne will once more be rounded out by a trend fashion show put on by the members of Initiative Handarbeit (Handicraft Initiative), a broad workshop programme, as well as numerous special activities with artists and various institutions. Furthermore, "my lovely livingroom" will once again serve as the meeting place of the scene's creative minds at next year's event. In this special exhibition area, the international specialised trade has the opportunity to find out about new marketing concepts, product innovations and the latest trends, and to discuss current industry issues. Last but not least, young and innovative German companies present themselves to the international trade visitors for the first time.
