Since our inception in 1982, family-owned Fryer Machine Systems has based its operation on three core principles: build a quality product, price it fairly and provide exceptional service. This philosophy has allowed Fryer’s business to grow even in challenging times. Fryer manufactures a diverse line of over 50 models of high quality machine tools in our Patterson, NY USA facility. Over the years Fryer has become well-respected for our quality, innovation and know how. In addition to our standard line Fryer produces customized machines for a number of major companies in the aerospace and automotive markets. Fryer is fortunate to have a dedicated worldwide network of distributors providing sales, service and application support. All distributors are factory trained on both mechanical and electrical systems to provide exceptional service.
30 Years of machine tool excellence
1982 Fryer Machine Systems, Inc. is founded as a company specializing in CNC engineering.
1984 Fryer moves into machine tool distributorship
1988 Distributorship reaches 11 states with 18 sub-dealers.
1992 Moves to new 10,000 sq ft building in Patterson NY and begins plans to manufacture their own brand.
1994 Fryer’s first machine tool, a toolroom 3 axis bed mill is produced.
1995 Product line is expanded to include CNC lathes.
1996 Develops the first conversational touch control for lathes, the Touch 2000 CNC control.
1998 Moves to a new 40,000 sq ft facility.
1999 Product line is expanded to include the VB Series of open machining centers.
2000 Fryer’s product line reaches 22 different machine tool models for toolroom and production shops.
2002 Partners with Boeing to produce the company’s first custom machine designed for duct work.
2004 Begins major emphasis on production machining market with the introduction of the MC-P & MC-E series.
2007 Completes a 7,000 square foot expansion including enlargement of manufacturing area and training facility.
2008 Partners with Siemens to introduce the Fryer Touch 2100 control based on the Siemens 840D platform.
2009 Enters the growing 5 axis machine market increasing the product line to 40 models.
2011 Becomes the largest purchaser of Siemens controls in North America.
2012 Introduces the VT series vertical turret lathe and the MT series Mill Tap Center
2013 Completes new 8,000 square foot expansion of manufacturing space.
