The heat expands the molecules of the substrate and changes the dyes into a vapor which penetrates the material. Through this process the graphic actually becomes part of the substrate and, unlike screen printing, this will not change the feel of the material and could faithfully reproduce the design. Therefore they are most suitable for printing on fabric that applied on sportswear, swimwear, lingerie, cushions, bags, webbing, multifunctional headwear and more.
